Kendall grew up around carpentry and ultimately followed in his grandfathers footsteps in deciding to work in the home renovation business. He lived and worked in B.C., Halifax and Toronto before moving to Ottawa in 2002, where he worked as a finishing and framing carpenter for large home builders such as Tartan, Richcraft and Ashcroft Homes. Identifying a need in the market for a level of quality that went above and beyond the standard government-issued building code, Kendall started is own residential renovation business in 2002.
Mike was born and raised in Orleans, and after completing a business degree and Canadian Securities Course along with a Red Seal Plumbing trade, he moved to Toronto where he worked for seven years as an industrial/commercial plumber. In 2015 Mike retuned to Ottawa to be closer to family and ultimately joined Ken Ross Contracting to apply his skill set to a smaller and more personalized aspect of his trade.
Kendall and Mike have been friends for over 25 years, which allows them to work cohesively together. They recognize that renovating can be a stressful time for people, and as such ensure the lines of communication between them and their clients are open and clear. They believe in maintaining a positive work environment, keeping a clean and tidy work site and committing themselves to a high standard of quality and detail, as if each project they complete were in their own homes.
